My Nana and I

My Nana and I
We were gardeners
my Nana and I.
Flowers grew
butterfly-like
around the garden
when the time was right.

We were baking freaks
my nana and I.
We laughed
happily -like
in the kitchen
when Nana Dale’s crumble was done.

We were swimmers
         my Nana and I.
We swam so much
Fish-like
to the end and back
Until we couldn't go no more.

We were fighters
my Nana and I
We  fought for her life
warrior-like
In the name of Love
But in the end we  lost.

We were gardeners
we were baking freaks
we were swimmers
we were fighters
my nana  and I
when Nana
was alive.

So my Nana passed away on the 16th of December 2017 of terminal cancer they gave her a couple months but she shocked them with 6 years of survival. In loving memory Nana dale.

If I were Cyclone Gita

If I were Cyclone Gita
If I were cyclone Gita
I would create strong winds to destroy
Farms, coastlines , houses and cities
I would cause power outages and make people stock up on food
and Make them fill with terror .
I would clean the leaves off trees.
I would flood the streets so they would have their own public swimming pool.
For all too soon, I had to go cause more destruction
to another country
And I must plan my next destruction and leave
these people whine over all of my destruction and more.

Garden Argument

Why should we have a veggie garden at school
The garden club should have a veggie garden to keep all their plants in.

We should have a veggie garden because it keeps students healthy and strong it also gives you protein.

We should have a veggie garden because you can sell them to make money for the school to buy new gardens supplies for the school garden club.

We should have a veggie garden because it helps our garden fresh, juicy, nutritious, healthy and full of vitamins.

We should have a veggie garden because kids can learn more about the different growing speeds, how to plant plants, treat them correctly and learn all the different types of plants.

We should have a veggie garden.

The heartbreaking goodbye

The heartbreaking goodbye Tears flooding down family members faces during the quiet heartbreaking goodbye. The speeches were so heart warming but the goodbye was tough at least she's in a better place. Hard to say goodbye not only to a caring warm hugging lady but a caring warm hearted Nana. It's a challenge saying goodbye to a warm hugging beautiful soul. I remember her warm hugs beautiful smile most of all her personality Just know we will always love you no matter what happens because you are a lovely lady and a lovely lady deserves to be loved. Holiday Writing

Remember that time?
Remember that time when you played a Netball game against Whatapaka and you were so nervous because your opponent was so tall?
Remember that time when your partner kept pushing your arm down and you got great intercepts?
That was your Netball game.

Remember that time you went to Pauanui Glade Holiday Park in the wet slippery rain?
Remember that time you played in the freezing cold water and you thought your toes were going to fall of?
That was Pauanui

Remember that time you went and got your nails done in Manukau Mall?
Remember that time you couldn't choose a colour because there was so many to choose from and you were terrified they would get nail polish on your new dress?
That was a Manicure
